Why this basic VTP config doesn't get propagated to the other swtiches ?

Hello, can you help on this:

3550 Switch = 'DLSwitchA'

2912XL = 'ALSwitchA2'

DLSwitchA fa0/1 is connected via crossover cable to fa0/1 port on AlSwitchA2.

I configured both respective fastethernet0/1 interfaces on both switches for 'switchport trunk encap dot1q'.

I also made sure the DLSwitchA is the vtp server, vtp domain='corp'. I configured the AlSwitch2 as 'vtp client', I input the same domain name 'corp'.

Then I created a VLAN 10 on DLSwitchA.

I expected that the VLAN 10 would be propagated to ALSwitch2. That is not happening though. Do you know what am I doing wrong ?

Please find attached configuration and output for 'show vtp status' for both switches.

Please ignore this. I realized that AlSwitchA2 is actually connected to port fa0/12 on ALSwitchA, and that was not configured for trunking. Problem solved. Thanks.
