The WS-C3560G-48TS-S with gig interface and ios version c3560-ipservicesk9-mz.150-2.SE1.bin some ports  are negotiating in 10 mpbs. Laptop connected to  port also shows network adapter speed  as 10 mbps until switch port is manually configured with speed 1000 command?

I´m thinking on these possible causes:

- Noise in the link, so the switch and the laptop are not able to negotiate successfully.

- Negotiation disabled on at least one of the devices (possibly the laptop).

- Driver failure in the laptop, so it is not trying to negotiate at all (just guessing here).

You should try to discard some of these: connecting the same laptop to other port which you know is negotiating 1 Gbps; Connecting another end device which you know is able to negotiate 1 Gbps to the port  with the issue.

Also, if possible, test the link with a cable cualifier, or at least try to send a file through it to verify that the 1 Gbps (100 MB/s aprox) speed is in fact achieved, discarding noise issues.

Please let us know the results.
