Will changing VTP mode cause a recalculation

Hi

If I change a switch from a VTP server to a VTP client will it cause a spanning tree recalculation?

No, it will not.You should be fine with it.VTP mode has nothing to do with STP

Nope, it won't. VTP is used just to have consistency of VLAN information across VTP domain.

Thank you, I thought as much, but I need to make a change on a huge core and didn't want to cause havoc. ;-)
