Hi all, can I use a normal wireless router as an AP , as I dont want it to do any routing ?

Hi Carl,

Yes, you can associate the wirless clients to the router. You have to create SSID for the vlans that you want to setup on the router.

Yes you can

you can turn off routing with command

router(config)#no ip routing

than you have "simple" AP
