Hi,I have a Cisco 837 router with an ADSL connection.lately i have observed that my wireless is working very intermittently,my dialer interface 1 is bound to virtual-access 2 interface,and when i do a sh int dialer 1 it gives o/p as
dialer1 is up,line protocol is up <spoofing>
virtual-access2 is up,line protocol is DOWN.
after continous monitoring ths virtual-access2 is going up and down?
I have 3 questions
1)Did i observe it correctly and found the cause of connection being teared down again and again?
2)dialer1 gets an ip address when virtual-access2 is up?
3)when i do a sh int atm0.1 ,it says,
atm0.1 is up,line protocol is up,
hardware is PQICC_SAR (with alcatel ADSL module)
Interface is unnumbered and the same ip address which is received on dialer1 interface is seen here??
Can some one elaborate on how actually this works?technically?and what is the logic process in this to get the whole thing work?
