Hi Tom,

If you do a Write Erase, you will loose all your config on the box including your session. Then you have to send some one with  console cable to reconfigure it.

Hi,

If you did wr erase on the remote router, that erased the startup configuration. It means there's no IP address on the router, therefore you cannot access it remotely.

You cannot PING or telnet/SSH into the router anymore correct?

If the router was rebooted, there's nothing to be done but copy a working configuration on the router again, or console in.

If the router has not been reloaded, you can copy the working running-config to the startup-config again.

Federico.

thankz guyz for the reply.

I got to get a support on site ; no wayout
