Hello. We are writing a standard for a client on Industrial Ethernet Design, Engineering and Installation Guidelines, which will be based around the use of Cisco Models WS-C2960G-24TC, WS-C3750G-24TS-E, and IE 3000-4TC switches that will interface with a Yokogawa DCS ethernet card ALE 111 . And so I’m wondering if perhaps CISCO may have available, or if someone here could suggest, a go-by document which I could use as a basis for such a standard? I realize there are quite extensive standards having been developed by IEEE, ODVA, etc. But we’re looking to put together something much more concise, user friendly so to speak, and specifically based around the CISCO products mentioned above. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
