We have one of these with 4 Fourx adapters in it and want to use 1gb GBICs but whenever we enable the interface it err-disables. We've entered the hw command to put the 40G in 10G mode but still no go. Any ideas? I think we need to return the 40G and get the WS-X6848-SFP instead. We bought the 40G for future upgrades but I need to get the 6509 installed to replace our Core stack. The 6509E has 2 Sup2T engines running 15.0.
