Can any body update me if Cisco WS-C2960C-12PC-L can be used to connect an IPTV. If Possible Kindly Provide me with a Reference.

You mean multicast? Yes. Multicast support is briefly discussed in the Data Sheet.

You mean power up an IPTV using PoE ports? Depends on your IPTV power requirements. This model can only supply up to 10w of PoE.

Power is Provided externally through adaptors, I mean to say, does it support IPTV Protocols.

What exactly are the IPTV protocols? I mean the switch you mentioned is a Layer 2 switch. It can't distinguish any higher-level protocols.
