Hi!

Today I have all 16 ports connected. 8 of them peaks on 2Gbit/sec.

The other 4 is dived into 2 port-channels an both portchannels are peking on approx 10Gbit/s at the same time (backup data dat goes from one end to another)

Port-channel 1 goes to ports Te1/1 and Te1/5

Port-channel 2 goes to ports Te1/9 and Te1/16

So all 4 high dens ports goes to one asic each, and one port-channel goes to on fabric channel each.

So when trafic is flowing from po1 to po2, will it go via the asics only or will it go via the switch fabric?

So when trafic is flowing from po1 to po2, will it go via the asics only or will it go via the switch fabric?

In your example it should be switched locally ie. use the fabric asics.
