WS-X6748-GE-TX with WS-F6700-CFC daughter card Diagnostic Problem

Just wanted to confirm if this could be slot 6 failure and hence need chassis change or should we first try to replace the SUp720.

Two different WS-X6748-GE-TX fails diagnostics in slot 6, but passes in slot 4.

I think slots 5 and 6 in the 9 slot chassis can only be used for SUPs and not for any line cards.

Think Brennan hit it on the head , slot 6 is reserved for a redundant supervisor.

In 9 slot chassis if you don't have second SUP module, slot 6 can be used for line card.

This customer has two CORE switches. Both have the same line card in slot 6. One works and one doesn't and has the problems that I described in previous entry.
