WS-X6848-GE-TX - Ingress Queuing needed?

I've found the following info in the Cisco Live document "BRKRST-2500 Campus QoS Design":

On WS-X6748-GE-TX CoS-based Ingress queuing is not recommended (use linecard at access-layer only)
My question now is:

Is this also true for the WS-X6848-GE-TX?

I believe the 6848 is,more or less, identical with a 6748 with a DFC4 installed.  If so, I would expect them to be often treated alike concerning usage recommendations.

I'm guessing the recommendation might be because both cards only have 40 Gbps to the fabric, but 48 gig ports, i.e. they're oversubscribed.  If so, you should also be able to avoid any need for ingress queueing by using less ports.
