WS-X6904-40G-2T Instant Access query

Hello

I'm having a look at Instant Access with the WS-X6904-40G-2T linecard. Instant Access can currently support 1000 ports with a maximum of 12 stacks. The document below seems to state that only 6 ports on a WS-X6904-40G-2T linecard can be used for IA parent-client links. Does this mean that a WS-X6904-40G-2T can only support 6 IA stacks? If so, is this number increase set to increase?

The IA parent-client connection is supported on links between WS-X6904-40G-2T switching
module 10GE ports and Catalyst 6800ia access switch 10GE ports.

Every major IOS release, the amount of stacked 6800IA increases.  How many currently, I've lost touch.  

The problem nowadays is some SEs don't seem to know how to sell them or they're not listening to their clients.  It's like they are selling them to get "points".  

You have to be one good network engineer to say "no" due to specific technical reasons.
