CLI Command and device support mapping

Hi experts,

Is there any utility to know whether the CLI command(s) is(are) supported in particular device series.

For example If I give the "show bootvar"(Support for this command was introduced on the Catalyst 6500 series switches) then i need the list of device images which are supporting this command.

Else If I give the command(say "show bootvar") and Device type like " Catalyst 6500 series switch" then I want to know whether that command is supported in that particular device.

Thanks in Advance...

Re: CLI Command and device support mapping

You can use command lookup tool to list series of devices to support particular command.

You can also use this document to view the list of commands that supported on the 6500 series device.
