I recently noticed our CS-MARS (v.6.0.7) appliance running kind of slow (slower than usual). I logged into the appliance through CLI and ran a systatus and noticed that the java process was fluctuating between 95-99% utilization:

sysstatus - 15:37:40 up 53 days, 18:04,  1 user,  load average: 1.45, 1.45, 1.27
Tasks: 189 total,   1 running, 188 sleeping,   0 stopped,   0 zombie
Cpu(s): 27.2% us,  3.4% sy,  0.0% ni, 66.1% id,  3.2% wa,  0.1% hi,  0.0% si
Mem:   8296844k total,  8275336k used,    21508k free,    34940k buffers
Swap: 16777208k total,    23660k used, 16753548k free,  5271320k cached

Has anyone come across this problem and have a potential solution?

Thanks,

Hi Michael.

a recent bug CSCtf73095 just like this was actually fixed in 6.0.7 . since you are running that version already, i recommend you open a TAC case so it's investigated as this is likely a new bug.

Best Regards,

Fadi.
