Should I ask my ISP to send to MARS router netflow?

Hi friends,

Could you help with a question?

As My customer dont have any router and in front of our ASA 5520 have a router of ISP I would like receive netflow from this router of my ISP.

Do you think that is a good idea? Or is good idea to active netflow from router only inside my site?

Hi Rodrigo,

It doesn't hurt to ask but my guess is that they are using this information themselves to manage their router.

A better idea is to only use the netflow information from inside your network.
