Temperature above threshold / Running in modulated clock mode

When I'm accessing information on the MARS via. web interface, the console starts complaining about temperature.

CPU Temperature          55/131              OK
System Temperature       26/78               OK

I've checked and all fans (power supply, case fans, CPU fan) seem to be blowing air properly. The MARS sits in our AC-cooled data center and System Temperature usually runs around 24-26 degrees. I've seen the CPU run anywhere from 45-72 degrees, however it's normally between 48-53 degrees.

Is this normal/ to be expected?

Thanks,
Greg
