Does anyone know what the following devic error counter "gmac_rmac_sync_loss_errcnt" on a Gbic Transceiver (CWDM-1530) mean and where I may locate information regarding these types of controller counters?

This GBIC is deployed on a cisco GE-3 card. GSR family.
