I'd like to be able to configure an inward (UP) facing MEP on the ES+ interface as I have directly attached (unmanaged) CPE.

Is this possible in 12.2(33)SRE1?

When i try and apply a MEP to the physical interface or service instance I see the following message.

router(config-if)# ethernet cfm mep domain CUSTOMER mpid 1 vlan 7

Up direction MEP is not supported on Gi7/19. Command Aborted.

Hi,

Check out the usage guideline for MEP in cisco 7600 routers,

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/7600/install_config/ES40_config_guide/es40_chap4.html

Hope to Help !!
