l2protocol-tunnel on ME3400

I have configured a dot1q tunnel with l2protocol-tunnel on the uni port of a test switch (f0/1). This is trunked out g0/1 which also needs the protocol tunnel command to work correctly. I have loads of sites already in situ without l2protocol-tunnel on g0/1 so does anyone know if applying this command can impact live traffic?

I will test myself but don't have the access for a couple of days.

Tested it myself and there is no impact to ip traffic while applying or removing this command.
