I am setting up a temporary remote office that is connected by 2X100 pairs of copper. The distance is across the street, maybe 120 feet. I'm wondering, what is the best way to connect the offices together and keep them on the same subnet? The current plan is to order a dsl circuit and have it installed in, let's call it, HQ then send the dsl circuit over the point to point copper where I breakout of the copper to terminate then install the dsl router in the remote office. The issues are, the builidngs aren't on the same subnet thus requiring me to install a firewall at remote office and build VPN tunnels and the like and that the connections are T-1 not 10MB or 100MB. I have a pair of 2600 series routers, I would love to use but I have no spare DSU/CSUs.
