3 HSRP Groups to 1 VRF

Hi! As you can see from the attach, we are using a topology where 2 7609s act as a PE, and we are also running a LAN (VLAN actually) with 3 HSRP groups in it.

Basically, what we have is several VLAN, and each one of them with 3 subnets configured in them.

The question today is, which will be the simplest way to redistribute this info to the vrfs. We need to have 1 vrf per vlan.

Hi,

HSRP is VRF-aware, which means that VIP arp and mac addresses will be entered into relevant VRF arp and mac address tables on your 7609s.

Just create VRF, appy it on relevant Vlan interfaces on 7609s and redistribute connected into MP-BGP IPv4 VRF address family.
