Hi,

1. Can we have a pseudowire (AToM) binded to a VRF ( L3MPLS instance) on one MPLS router?

2. Can we have VPLS and VRF talking to each other, without using other router..?

ALU, JUniper can do it..

Rgds,

Gaurav Prakash

Hi Gaurav,

It doesn't sound right to me. AToM (L2VPN) and MPLS VPN VRF (L3VPN) are two different types of VPNs. L2VPN does not require an IP address on the PE router- end to end CE connection is purely Layer-2 based, however, L3VPN requires an IP address on the PE router- CE forms adjacency with the PE router.

Other ideas most welcome.

HTH.

Hi,

For ALU concept they call "spoke termination" that we can terminated VLL or VPLS to VRF service (VRF act as gateway for VLL/VPLS).
This feature mostly support for IP backhauling
for mobile 2G,3G,Wimax. I think Cisco cannot support on this but we can adapt by using physical loop between xconnect to VRF subinterface.
