hi, i'm planing to start selling ADSL to my users. The problem that came to me, is how can i controle the bandwith that i give to every customer (lets say 384KBs)? how can i be sure that none of my ADSL customers will not have more than 384KBS? Is there any configuration that i can use in my core routers (7206)? Do i have to open PVS's/SVC's/Tunnels??
ADSL is configured like ATM. So you can control a user traffic giving the ATM service parameters to his ATM VC. This is valid if user PVC comes upto your router. But some DSLAMs can also terminate PVC and directs user traffic to the Access concentrator as IP. In this case CAR may be used.
