EVN with EBGP

Hey Folks,

I've seen about a dozen docs on EVN w/ some IGP's etc., but nothing yet illustrating EVN with BGP - know where I can find some?

Thank You!

Re: EVN with EBGP

Hi Scott,

where did you read that eBGP is supported as the EVN routing protocol?

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/evn/configuration/xe-3s/Overview_of_Easy_Virtual_Network.html#GUID-EFF50469-6FC7-4217-A6E6-23C59BFAC13A

Routing Protocols Supported by EVN

Each EVN runs a separate instance of a routing protocol. This allows each EVN to fine-tune its routing separately and also limits fate sharing. Different virtual networks may run different routing protocols concurrently.

EVN supports static routes, OSPFv2, and EIGRP for unicast routing, and PIM, MSDP, and IGMP for multicast routing.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/iosswrel/ps6537/ps6557/ps6604/whitepaper_c11-638769.html

Static routes, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), or Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) can be deployed on edge interfaces connecting to VN users or VN sites. EIGRP or OSPF is recommended as the core routing protocol on trunk interfaces.
