1. a LAN switch can be connected to a PE router directly?

2. assume Cisco OSR 7209, with integrity L2/L3 funication. can be configured as PE?

for question, i try to explain more in details as:

A osr-7209 with 16-port GE I/O module for LAN connectivity

and a OSM GE module for MPLS connection. is it working?

it seems that there should be a external cable connected

between 16-port GE and OSM ( 4-port GE), right?
