How to track for HSRP when the access is ATM

Hi,

I want to place for redundancy two CPE that conntect via ATM to two PE-access routers. My issue is that I can track the ATM interface for HSRP but what if my PE-access router goes down? My ATM link on the CPE will remain up. Hence no switchover.

How do I solve this?

you can rtr tracking if ur ios supports and track the PE end IP. Use the track instance in the HSRP and flap over if the link is down.

You can think of using OAM for PVC management. If your PVC goes down on one side it brings the corresponding legs down as well.
