Unfortunatly I don't know a lot about all of IOS's feature sets and offerings.
That being said; Do you need the MPLS feature set in your edge routers if you WAN provider is offering you an MPLS solution?

hi there..
No you do not need to run any SP IOS feature sets if you WAN provider is offering you an MPLS service.
As far as you the customer is concerned, the SP infrastructure is transparent to you. You configure whatever routing protocols you want to use at the edge of your network - OSPF,BGP,EIGRP,STATIC,RIPv2 as you would in any other situation.
Your provider will then attach the necessary Route Distinguisher and tag your packet accordingly.

The general answer is NO.
For a normal enterprise, the MPLS solution is entirely transparent to you. Your routers therefore do not need to understand MPLS.
