I tried to get the port/interface where a MAC address is learned via SNMP.
So far I found the IP-->MAC-->VLAN interface relation.
But what OID gives me the right port on the switch/router (Cisco7606S; ESM20 card)
I tried :
snmpwalk -v 2c -c <community> <device> 1.3.6.1.2.1.3.1.1.3 | grep "<IP>"
at.atTable.atEntry.atNetAddress.43.1.<IP> : IpAddress: <IP>
With that I got the IfIndex (43) where this IP is found. But IfIndex tells me that this is the VLAN interface. I finally like to get the port as it is shown with the command "show mac-address-table address <MAC-address>"
--> * <VLAN> 000f.bb23.e2d6 dynamic Yes 0 Gi1/0/9 efp_id <VLAN>
Gig1/0/9 would be the value I like to get via SNMP.
Many thanks for any help
