LDP on ethernet problem

Hi

i am having a network of multivendors, Cisco and other vendor routers.

i am running MPLS on the network and when i run MPLS in the Cisco part, problems arise.

MPLS is not working well on Cisco Ethernet segment, and i have a 7206 router connected to another router via E1 interfaces and when i run MPLS on these E1 interfaces, customers have problems and slow browsing happneds, i guss this is an Issue of MTU on Ethernet with LDP.

Can anyone help???

You can use the "mpls mtu" command to change the mtu size on the interface and therefore allow a 1500 bytes IP packet + MPLS label(s) to be transmitted without fragmentation. Refer to the following URL for more info.

Also make sure that the switch supports baby giant frames. Refer to the following URL to see how to achieve this on several Cisco switches:
