MPLS and IPsec

Hi,

We have a MPLS network, but i have a question obout how Ipsec work over this network.

The encription is going to make in the CPE end to end, When Ipsec make the encrption, what happen with the QoS?, I'll following have the QoS, the CE going to respect my Priority and another way what can i do for these question or what is the best recomendation.And If you can sendme information about this question.

Hi,

By default the TOS byte of the original packet is coppied to the encrypted IPSEC tunnel header. So you may change DSCP or Prec of the incoming traffic to CE router. Then tunnel header uses this value. After the tunnel destination QOS methods may be applied to the IPSEC packet. (I assumed tunnel mode )

There is also a new feature called Tunnel Preclassification for QOS. I advise you to look at this feature also.
