As in the attached diagram at Router A, Traffic from Network 1 to Network 2 is taking path A-D. But in case of the failure on A-D link, Traffic must switchover to path A-B-D. A,B and D are the Cisco 7606 and actiing as MPLS P routers. Traffic engineering tunnels are UP between Network 1 & 2.

how can we test how much time the router (A) took to switch between paths, from (1/1) to (2/1) in milli seconds ?
in addition to looking to the log timestamps as suggested by Mahesh, if this a testing lab scenario and you have a traffic generator instrument, you could send traffic from network1 to network2 doing a frame loss test.
