Hi,

I am new to MPLS Technology. I have some doubts regarding monitoring the mpls network.

can we measure bandwidth utilization per CoS or per application using netflow?

If so, how can we measure the bandwidth?

can we use IP SLA to measure latency,jitter,packetloss for MPLS networks?

can anyone pls clarify my doubts?

Can you please clarify why do you want to measure application level bw utilization for an end customer.

If you are provising this service as an value add, then alternatively you can enable netflow on the CE and

have it exported to a centralized site for flow level analysis as a part of you managed CPE environment.

You can use VPN Aware IP SLA feature to do the SLA management and tracking for your end customer VPN;s.
