MPLS Support for 3620 Router

Hi,

is there any IOS version available, which supports MPLS. This is only required in a lab for CCIP preparation.

MPLS is not supported on the 3620.

MPLS support was in 12.2(16) Enterprise even for 2600 routers. I think it might be supported for 3600 also.

At least for lab purposes.

I have running IOS 12.2 Enterprise but this version is supporting tag switching only (tdp and no ldp).

For my purposes is it sufficient.

12.3 or 12.2.15T Enterprise version support mpls ldp in the 2600 platform. Tdp, Cisco pre-standardize implementation method, is a subset of the ldp. To learn MPLS and VPN concept, you really don't need ldp, in my opinion, unless you dig deep into InterAS, Carrier over Carrier, TE, or AToM feature sets.

ldp Use LDP

tdp Use TDP (default)

Hi,

I realise this thread is very old, and the 3620 even older and unsupported now, but ive got a bunch of them lying around and was trying to do an MPLS lab with them.

Looks like "c3620-j1s3-mz.122-13.T16.bin" is not available on CCO for download any more, and "c3620-j1s3-mz.123-26.bin" which is on my box does not support MPLS (would have thought it carried features from 12.2T but apparently not for MPLS for this image).

any way i can get hold of an MPLS image for lab purposes only ?
