MPLS TE Path-Protection asymmetry

Hi
I have a MPLS-TE tunnel with a protected path.
Both the protected path and the protecting path has explicit paths

When the Protected path goes down and then come up again it looks like the path isn't symmetric at first.

Is there a way to prevent this short asymmetry?
Reoptimize? other timers?

Thanks
/Daniel

This is noticeable when using like E1 over MPLS TE with protected path.
It can be handled with a EEM script, that to a "sh", "no sh" when the path is changed

The switchover between the protecting and the protected path is asymmetric.
It may be that most applications doesn't bather but ours do.

So, a script that acts on the syslog message about MPLS-TE path change and then shuts down the interface, waits some time and then no shutdown.

On a setup with 2 paths with different weight instead of protect, then the reoptimize timer need to be in considered.
