I'm having an issue configuring mvpn in between a N7K and IOS Router.
On the IOS router, i'm seeing this error message:
DT-4-INCOMPATIBLE_TUNNEL_TYPE: Incompatible tunnel type in BGP update router_id:10.16.32.1 RD:10.16.32.1:13 type:1 tunnel_type:4; local tunnel_type:0.
10.16.32.1 is the router-id of the N7K.
I have a source connected to the IOS router, and a reciever connected to the N7K.
the mroute *is* installed into the mroute table.
I haven't been able to find any way to adjust the "tunnel type " for mvpn's on either the N7K's or the IOS Routers.
Unicast routing is working as expected.
Any pointers would be highly appriciated

The issue appears when there's a mismatch in the type of multicast for the MDT - ASM vs. SSM.
