Rate limiting on a Metro Ethernet interface

Can someone tell me what the implications of having a rate-limiting statement configured on an interface on the router referencing an ACL that is no longer configured on the router?

This rate-limiting statement was placed after another rate-limiting statement referencing a different ACL which was configured on the router

Thanks

Mary

Re: Rate limiting on a Metro Ethernet interface

Hi,

can you post the relevant config?

Generally speaking: an empty ACL could mean: no traffic is rate-limited, as there is no matching traffic (deny any).

Regards, Martin
