TFIB error logs

Hi,

We are getting TFIB error messeges in our Backbone (C7513) router every one hour.Please find the enclosed logs below and suggest us what might be the problem.

Mar 1 00:26:08.451 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

Mar 1 01:26:09.387 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

Mar 1 02:26:10.083 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

Mar 1 03:26:10.787 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

Mar 1 04:26:11.774 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

Mar 1 05:26:12.506 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

Mar 1 06:26:13.446 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

Mar 1 07:26:14.134 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

Mar 1 08:26:14.853 INDIA: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

As per Error Msg decoder:

1. %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing. [chars] [chars]

The periodic TFIB scan is being repeatedly aborted due a some problem such as an unresolved adjacency

Are u having any adjacency prob ?

Can u do sh tag td n and check the Adj.

There is no adjacency problem and i checked sh tag td n and iam able to see all the adj. any other prob ??

Release Notes

PE router (configured for MPLS) displays the following messages every 5-10 minutes.

02:29:06: %TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing.

CSCdy01077 Bug Details

The following error messages may be displayed on the console port of

a Cisco router or switch:

%TFIB-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing. MAC string updated.

%TFIB-DFC8-7-SCANSABORTED: TFIB scan not completing. MAC string updated. *

The messages may continue to be displayed until the router or switch

is reloaded. The error messages are informational and indicate that an

excessive amount of network or line transitions may cause an excessive number

of Forwarding Information Base (FIB) scans. Processes that are attempting to

converge on the network may cause the Route Processor (RP) and/or the Switch

Processor (SP) CPU utilization to occasionally reach 100 percent.

Workaround: There is no workaround.
