2811 password not accepting

hi all,

I have cisco 2811 router . Actually want to change my password .i did

router>enabled

passwor:****

router#config t

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

Router(config)#ena secret <newpass>

Router(config)#wr

Building Configuration.....[ok]

Router(config)#exit
connection host lost ....

now i cant login router

now it is not accepting my password and also i cangt telnet and ping also..
