Hi friends,
i have configured......... Cisco terminal server 2811 for console access and its working fine.....
i can get console of any device which is mounted in same rack where terminal server also mounted in same rack
But my problem is that...... there is some device which is mounted in another rack and it is very far from terminal server....
so how i can't extend the octal cable up to that devices.??? which is very short in lenght. and i am not able to connect this devices.
is there any cable, or conector,???....
please give me some idea to resolve this problem

i resolved this issue For console access ASR5500 and 5000 chassis where octal cable not support to console port when i was directly connected,to extend the octale cable you require following things
