this document tries to give an overview about all the applications and versions released with CiscoWorks starting from LMS 2.0 up to LMS 3.2. First there is the LMS version. Under this point I listed the different applications and their versions when a fresh installation is done. Second I listed the updates available for the different applications which changes the version number for this application. The maximum version number for each application within each relase of LMS is listed in square brackets [ ].
The prerequisites for installing the individual application upgrades are not conequently listed - for this you need to read the installation guide for each patch. I can give no guarantee that this is a complete and correct listing but I did my best and hopefully it can help someone to find his way through the labyrinth of LMS versions and application versions and sub-versions...
Starting with LMS 4.0 the GUI of LMS is reorganized - focusing on functions (e.g. Monitor, Asset, Configuration) instead of applications (e.g. Campus Manager, Resource Manager). As a consequence, there are some basic changes:
- the application and version schema does not exist anymore
- patches are bundled and provided in a different way
- you can only install LMS as a whole (not e.g. the "Monitor" Functions on a seperate server as the "Configuration" function)
