Company XYZ has multiple links terminate on HO (head office) router and it learns following routes through different protocol as shown below in routing table.

50.0.0.0/8 is variably subnetted, 4 subnets, 4 masks

B       50.50.50.0/30 [200/0] via 10.1.1.2, 00:06:12

D       50.50.50.0/28 [90/409600] via 20.1.1.2, 00:04:42, FastEthernet0/0

O       50.50.50.0/26 [110/65] via 30.1.1.2, 00:05:09, Serial0/1

S       50.50.50.0/24 is directly connected, 40.1.1.2

Which route will be preferred by HO router to send packet to host 50.50.50.1

Options:

A) BGP with subnet 50.50.50.0/30

B) EIGRP with subnet 50.50.50.0/28

C) OSPF with subnet 50.50.50.0/26

D) Static route configure with subnet 50.50.50.0/24

A

50.50.50.0/30 is most specific record for 50.50.50.1 in route table

Routing protocols preferences are used only when more than one equal-specific routes are placed in route table

- D.

A route that has a directly connected interface is better than a learned route.

STATIC ROUTE IS MORE PREFERED.

The one with a lower Administrative Distance is most preferred . Since in this case STATIC ROUTE.
