20 VPN in cisco router 3620

Hi All

I have a cisco router 3620 I have configured 20 VPN for my branches offices, the problem is that the load of the CPU arrives at 100%, my conection for this central router is 2 mbps but the traffic average is 600 kbps, my problem not is traffic, but all my branches offices is connected when the load of CPU arrives to 100%.

My consult is:

1- Need other router ?

2- How can I debgu to this router y I to know the problem real?

3- I need concentrator cisco vpn 3020 for this Network design?

Hi

When you are processor is hogging up to 100% have you tried checking which process takes the maximum out ?

Also the ios version of your router and the hardware specficiations you have like the DRAM and number of physical interfaces connected on the router..

If you dont see any suspected traffic or activity then you can consider for going on with a ISR series router either a 2800 or 3800 series will well fit onto your requirement.

Also you can think off going on for a VPN concentrator in additon to the current setup but still before drawing up to any conclusion better we check out the behaviour of different processes.
