If the router has the bus error message and it indicates the address, how can I identify which part of hardware within the router has problem (which memory slot or module)?

For example:

System was restarted by bus error at PC 0x400B9A58, address 0xB0D0AFD at 12:38:40 MO Fri Mar 31 2006

It is a 2811 router.

Hi Benche,

The system encounters a bus error when the processor tries to access a memory location that either does not exist (a software error) or does not respond properly (a hardware problem).

There is a detailed procedure to troubleshoot this kind bus errors. There is a link describing this,
