access web interface LMS

Hi all,

I have a problem access web interface CiscoWorks using the url

http://172.16.xy:1741 (on the server locally or remotely).

but when I use http://lms:1741 or https://lms its work fine locally but not remotely.

please help me to do it work remotely.

This is almost certainly a firewall issue.  If you have a host-based firewall (e.g. Windows Firewall) enabled, try disabling it to see if that corrects the problem.  If so, make sure you go through the ports list at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_lan_management_solution/3.2/install/guide1/prereq.html#wp1120001 and allow the ports that LMS requires.  The same goes for a network firewall.  Make sure you open all of the required ports from client to server.
