In LMS 3.0 on a Windows 2003 box, does the Adaptive Server Anywhere Database Engine require access for incoming network connections?

No, all connections originate from the local server. There have been some security advisories about allowing broadcast client connections, but we have been talking with Sybase, and this problem does not affect our ASA deployment.
