Adding an ASA to LMS

Hi, I have an ASA 5550. I have installed the ASA 2.1 package and have verified that the OID is supported. When I add the device to the DCA the credentials check fails and I get a device not supported message.

Can anyone advise me on how to troubleshoot this?

Do you have the SNMP RO configured and it matches what you enter in LMS? Do you also have the snmp-server host command added to the ASA which points to the IP address of LMS?

Hi davistan,

Yes, the snmp settings are on the ASA and in LMS. I can perform an snmp-walk of the ASA from LMS.
