I am attempting to add a device to Common Services but I receive an error message that there is a duplicate entry. I have looked in Common Services and RME and I cannot find the device by name or IP address to remove it / re-add it.
My original goal was to filter a syslog report by that device's name or IP address... but Ciscoworks is not reporting information on the device.
I have tested using the "Management Station to Device" tool and SNMP get and telnet work OK from the Ciscoworks software.
Any ideas on either why it is not reporting OR how to find the "hidden" entry?
That can be painful.... hopefully this device doesnt have too many IP addresses on it because you'll need to search for them either in the device selector or by running a custom report with the addresses in Boolean "OR" statements against the inventory.
