I am looking into management software for about 300-400 Cisco devices. I know about Cisco works and Solar Winds. Does anyone have any other good experience with other products?
The minimum requirement would be be to configure many devices at once, for instance, to upgrade the IOS image on 150 X 2960 or add a vlan to a bunch of 3560's etc... Basically the ability to issue multiple commands to multiple devices.
Other things that would be nice is monitoring of the config, performance monitoring etc. but is not necessary. Price is a factor as well..
Right now we are all Cisco, but I do prefer a more open solution then Cisco Works, in case we do move with other vendors.
