Apply filters to Syslog report rather than Syslog Collector?
Is it possible to filter out certain syslogs from a built-in (e.g. Severity Level Summary) or custom report without dropping them with Messages Filters, leaving open the possibility of someone else could be looking for these?
Re: Apply filters to Syslog report rather than Syslog Collector?
The problem is nobody could know for sure what would be of interest, but I do know what we don't want to see in for example the Severity Level Summary report. I sorely miss the aggregated-by-device presentation format in RME 3.5's Severity Level Summary report, which makes the viewing experience more managable (at least psychologically).
Will RME 5.0 be any better in terms of being to report on the "everything but ***" scenario?
